Ambassador Programme Terms
Version 1.0 · Last updated 20 October 2026 · This is a general summary, not legal advice.
These terms apply to the MyPerson ambassador programme. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you can opt out of the programme and its promotional messages.
1. Enrolment
Every member is automatically enrolled and receives a referral code. You must be at least 18 and have one active account. You may not create multiple accounts or refer yourself, family members, employees or fake accounts to generate commission.
2. Referrals and attribution
A referral is attributed when a new member signs up through your link or code. Attribution is stored for 60 days and is final once a member has been referred. A member can have only one referrer. Referral links may not be used in paid search on our brand, in spam, or in a way that misleads people about who is recommending the Service.
3. Commission
You earn 20% of each plan payment and 10% of each top-up payment from a referred member, for as long as they remain subscribed and pay. Commission is calculated on the payment amount we receive, before any adjustment for refunds, chargebacks, taxes or fees. The current rates are also shown in your dashboard.
4. Holds and payouts
- Commission becomes available 30 days after the payment, to allow for refunds and disputes.
- The minimum payout is $50. Payouts are manual and reviewed before they are sent.
- You must provide a valid payout method and details. You are responsible for keeping them accurate and for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
- We may hold, offset or reverse commission affected by refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate accounts, self-referrals or breaches of these terms.
- Only one payout request can be open at a time. We may decline a request and return the earnings to your available balance.
5. Taxes and status
You participate as an independent contractor, not an employee, partner or agent of DotShop LLC. You are responsible for your own taxes and any registrations required where you live. We may ask for tax information (such as a W-9, W-8BEN or local equivalent) before paying you, and may withhold amounts where the law requires. You have no authority to bind us or make commitments on our behalf.
6. How you may promote MyPerson
- Clearly disclose that you earn a commission when you promote MyPerson (for example, “affiliate link” or “I earn a commission if you subscribe”).
- Do not make false, misleading or guaranteed income claims, or imply that MyPerson is a therapist, medical service or crisis service.
- Do not spam, send unsolicited bulk messages, scrape contact data, or target people who have asked you not to contact them.
- Follow the rules of the platforms you use and all applicable advertising and consumer laws.
- Do not use our brand, logos or content in a way that suggests an endorsement, partnership or official status you do not have.
7. Changes, suspension and termination
We may change the programme, rates or these terms with reasonable notice. Changes apply to future payments, not commission already earned. We may suspend or remove you from the programme for fraud, abuse, misleading marketing or breach of these terms. If we end the programme, we will settle valid unpaid commission, less any adjustments or amounts owed, in line with these terms.
8. Opting out
You can opt out of the programme and its promotional messages at any time by contacting us. Opting out stops future commission and promotional messages. Valid commission already earned may still be paid, subject to these terms. You can also opt out of marketing messages without leaving the programme.
9. Privacy and contact
We use your referral, commission and payout data to run the programme, pay you and meet tax and legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. Questions about the programme: DotShop LLC. Use our contact form.
