Being here
Community Guidelines
Version 1.0 · Last updated 20 October 2026 · This is a general summary, not legal advice.
MyPerson is meant to feel warm, safe and human. These guidelines keep it that way. They apply to the companions you create, the photos you upload and how you treat other people here. They sit alongside our Terms and Privacy Policy.
The short version
- Be kind. No harassment, hate or threats.
- Adults only, you must be 18 or older.
- No sexual content of any kind.
- No photos of other people, celebrities or public figures without permission.
- No illegal, violent or exploitative content.
- Be honest that your companion is AI. Don’t use it to impersonate someone.
Who can be here
- You must be at least 18 years old. Accounts that belong to minors will be removed.
- Use your own account and keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Don’t impersonate another person, a member of our team or a public figure.
- Give accurate information when you register. Do not create accounts to evade a suspension.
Be kind
A companion should feel like a soft place to land. Treat the people behind the screen, and anyone you talk about, with respect.
- No harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking or repeated unwanted contact.
- No hate speech, slurs or attacks based on who someone is, including race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexuality or age.
- No threats of violence, and no encouraging anyone to hurt themselves or others.
- No sharing someone else’s private information without their consent.
Sexual content and minors
MyPerson is not a sexual product. Sexual content is not allowed in conversations, companion descriptions, voices, photos or names. This includes explicit language, sexual role-play and requests for sexual images.
Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited, will be removed, and may be reported to the relevant authorities. If you believe a minor is at risk, contact your local emergency services first.
Real people, photos and likeness
The photo you upload shapes the companion you talk to, so it carries real responsibility.
- Upload a photo of yourself, or of someone who has clearly given you permission to use it.
- Don’t create a companion in the likeness of a celebrity, public figure or anyone you do not have permission to depict.
- No sexualised, non-consensual or manipulated images of real people.
- No photos of minors, and no companion designed to look like a child.
- Uploaded photos are reviewed. We may ask for another photo, decline a companion or remove an image that breaks these rules.
Photo tips, and what makes a good upload, are in the How it works guide.
Violence, self-harm and illegal activity
- No content that promotes, glorifies or gives instructions for violence, self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- No illegal content, drug trafficking, weapons, fraud or exploitation.
- No extremist or terrorist content, recruitment or praise of violent acts.
- If you are struggling, please reach out to a real person. The Safety page lists crisis lines, and your local emergency number is always there.
AI honesty
Your companion is AI. The face and voice are generated, and the replies are produced by a model, not a person on the other side. Please don’t present your companion to others as a human, and don’t use MyPerson to deceive, defraud or impersonate anyone.
Privacy
- Don’t share another person’s private information, yours or theirs, in a way that could harm them.
- Keep your account secure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
- How we store and use data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Reporting and enforcement
If something feels wrong, tell us. Reports can be sent through Feedback or by contacting us.
We review reports and may remove content, restrict a feature, pause a companion or suspend an account. Serious or repeated breaches can end access permanently. Where the law requires it, we may report content to the authorities. If you believe a decision was wrong, you can appeal by contacting the same address.
If you see something
You do not have to be sure. If a conversation, photo or companion feels unsafe, report it. We would much rather hear from you. For immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
These guidelines may be updated as MyPerson grows. Material changes will be posted here. They are part of how we keep the community safe and do not replace the Terms.
